My Golf Distances ("we", "our", or "the app") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our golf yardage tracking application.

Information We Collect

The app collects and stores the following data:

• Club names and types you create
• Distance measurements (carry and total)
• Your unit preference (meters or yards)
• Club organization and bag configuration

How We Store Your Data

All your data is stored:

• Locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework
• In your personal iCloud account (if iCloud is enabled)

We do not have access to your iCloud data. Your data syncs privately through Apple's CloudKit infrastructure, which means only you can access it across your devices.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We want to be clear about what we don't do:

• We do not collect personal identification information
• We do not track your location
• We do not use analytics or tracking services
• We do not share any data with third parties
• We do not display advertisements
• We do not require account registration

iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud on your device, your club data will sync across all your devices signed into the same Apple ID. This sync is handled entirely by Apple's CloudKit service. We cannot access, view, or modify your synced data.

Data Security

Your data security is important to us:

• All data is stored using Apple's secure frameworks
• iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest
• We follow Apple's best practices for data handling

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

• Delete all data anytime via Settings → Reset to default
• Disable iCloud sync in your device settings
• Uninstall the app to remove all local data

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages as it does not collect personal information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
